Training & development
Academic Support and Study Skills
Many learners struggle academically due to ineffective study habits or a lack of self-confidence.
Academic Support and Study Skills
I combine study skills training with therapeutic techniques to build self-efficacy and ensure lasting results. Recognizing the vital role of parental involvement, I work with both learners and parents to create home programs that promote consistent consolidation and minimize parent-child conflict. By fostering a positive academic relationship and providing guidance for supervision, I aim to support learners in developing the skills and confidence needed for long-term success.
Parent Guidance
Parents play a pivotal role in their child’s growth and development. Unfortunately, parents are not issued with a handbook for their children when they are born.
Parent Guidance
By equipping parents with skills in listening, affirming, boundary setting, communication, and understanding family dynamics, many challenges can be addressed early, fostering healthy self-esteem in children. Parent guidance also extends to young adults (ages 20–25), as their brains, particularly the frontal lobe responsible for executive functions, continue developing. Parents remain essential in supervising and mediating their young adult's growth during this stage. Individual sessions are available to provide personalised support tailored to your family's needs.
Educator Training
Empowering educators is vital for creating a supportive learning environment.
Educator Training
Teacher training workshops focus on equipping teachers with strategies to address diverse classroom challenges, foster better communication with students, and support learners with special needs, anxiety, or behavioral difficulties. Sessions can also include topics such as understanding family dynamics, understanding neurodiversity, identifying when to refer and fostering resilience in students. These training sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the teaching staff and promote holistic student development.
